Hello, Aloha, Bonjour!
Wahine (wah-hee-neh) is the Hawaiian word for woman. Lawyering is my job, but writing is my passion. For me, a beautifully crafted sentence is the most delicious thing in the world.
Hawai’i is where I lived as a child and where I feel most at home. I also lived on the east coast, and now I live in California. I like the idea of traveling more than I actually do it. When I have the time and means to travel, I find it hard to resist going home.
I love all things Hawaiian, particularly hula, and most things French. If past lives are real, I must have been French in a past life.
Light, composition, and color fascinate me. My digital SLR and smartphone cameras make me a mediocre but happy photographer.
La vie est belle – life is beautiful. I try to capture some of life’s beauty and mystery in this blog. I hope my posts give you a reason to smile or at least serve as food for thought.
I welcome your feedback, and I look forward to chatting with you.
Thank you, Mahalo, Merçi.
